Still plugging along

Man, cable needles were invented by the deepest darkest demon spirit. I realized when I went to join all the upper pieces and sleeves together that the directions suddenly became completely foreign. Slip 3 stitches on cn & bring to back? I know, I should have read the supply list a little more carefully. I've gotten a little over halfway through the 5th row; the cables are every 4 rows so at least I only have to deal with the slippery devils occasionally. Obviously my first time using the cable needles I bought months ago when my trusty the Knitter's Bible told me I'd need them eventually. Don't get me wrong, I think the effect is amazing, I'm just not so fond of the getting there.
Maybe I'll get used to it.
